Life Lately...

Mexican for tea with my homie.

So my camera has run out of battery and I left my charger at home in Tapanui... thus, mum is couriering the charger to me so hopefully I get that in the next couple days so I can do some new blogposts! So that is why there are random pictures from my iPhone on here... #awks.

Basically, i've had an extremely laxed week although I am still feeling rather run down. As per usual, I've left all my homework until the night before it is due, and as per usual instead of doing it I am here writing this post. But you know what? Who wants to read about radio broadcasting and laws around it throughout the world!?

I know I should be interested since it is what my future career path will be but... I find it so hard reading dense and uninteresting text. If you have any tips on how I can learn to cope with these massive readings then it would be much appreciated!

New chocolate that's just come out and it's oh so good!

I know it's only halfway through the year but already i've had to start sorting out where i'm living next year and it's turned slightly catty.. Which i'm not liking. I'm more a person who just likes things to run smoothly and I get stressed out when it's not :(

Finally, i've been to the movies a lot lately! The most recent being Sex Tape and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. There is just something about watching pictures on a big screen, while sitting in the seats with cupholders and eating overpriced popcorn that you pay an arm and a leg for and never end up eating it all because you start feeling sick...

Sex Tape wasn't as funny as I thought it would be - although I did have a few wee chuckles. I just thought it was a bit far fetched in some places. If you've seen it you'd know what i'm talking about.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is a film i'm on the fence about. I didn't love it nor hate it but I left the theatre feeling weird emotions. As I think about the film now, I still get weird emotions. There is just something about animals dying that makes me sad. There's also something about innocent humans dying that makes me sad. There's also something about Caesar being so compassionate to humans that gets me teary.

I have to admit, I was getting so nervous during the movie that I had to google the plot so that I knew there would be a semi-happy ending! Bad I know. I pretty much cheated at the movies, but I had no choice or else I would have to leave!!!!!

Shisha at the local Turkish bar.

Have you been to the movies lately?
